the pagan nail salon

many moons ago, my friend rhoby and i would have tea parties in the middle of the woods. we'd wear floor length psychedelic dresses, drink magical tea and prance around like fairies. we'd give each other indian ink tattoos, summon positive spirits and and hide behind trees and giggle whenever strangers passed. we created our own little world to escape to, even for just a couple of hours. 20 some odd years later and we still experience that magic, even at korean nail salons.

(why do I have a feeling this series may incredibly backfire?)

I must say, one of my favorite parts of parenting is making fun and aesthetically pleasing snacks and lunches because they're right at my base culinary level.
